Our custom-built Cabana is designed for four-season use, ensuring comfort no matter the temperature outside. With heat pumps for heating and cooling, you can enjoy the space year-round. Furthermore, we conduct flow rate analysis and a heat retention study to guarantee the best performance of your energy system. We use spray foam insulation, which provides higher R-values and helps your structure achieve an Energy Star rating by boosting energy efficiency.

The OSB plywood exterior ensures consistent expansion and contraction, while helping the structure handle moisture better. The St Laurent siding, made from concrete, was a prerequisite for the township due to its fireproof properties. Not only does it offer enhanced safety, but it also requires no maintenance and is designed to last over 25+ years, providing a durable, long-lasting solution. Additionally, it maintains a realistic and natural appearance, adding to the beauty of the space.

To ensure stability and ease of installation, we incorporate helical pile foundations, which bypass the need for a complex geotechnical analysis. The grade beam foundation will last a lifetime.

Inside, we offer a range of amenities, including a washroom, office, and gym area, all designed for your comfort and convenience. The washroom features a macerating septic system with an ejector pump, ensuring an efficient and reliable plumbing connection between the Cabana and both the home/city sewer system. For easy maintenance, the shower is equipped with epoxy grout instead of traditional grout, providing a long-lasting, easy-to-clean finish. We also include a hot water tank to ensure enjoyable, warm showers.

The gym area is designed for both functionality and comfort. The floor is made of a rubber compound, providing an impact rating that’s perfect for weightlifting and ensuring stability for all your exercises. Mirrors are installed so you can monitor your form and perform exercises with precision. Additionally, built-in speakers fill the space with motivating music to keep you energized throughout your workout.

The office is equipped with a tech cable for secure internet, ensuring a fast and reliable connection. With stunning views of the backyard resort, it offers a peaceful and inspiring space to work. Our natural stone pool coping is designed to combine both performance and style. The coping is set on a mortar bed, which helps wick moisture away from the stone, preventing potential damage over time. The Banas Stones Antique Black stone features a round bullnose edge for the pool, making it not only visually appealing but also kid-friendly and safe.

To enhance the longevity of your pool, we use caulking joints with silica sand, which ensures long-term performance by providing a tight seal that resists moisture and movement, keeping the investment in pool coping intact and secure for years.

Drainage: Efficient and Reliable

A solid drainage system is essential to protect your property from water damage and safeguard your investment. Our soak-a-way pit, the size of a Honda Civic, ensures efficient drainage, capable of handling even the most extreme weather conditions. This system works seamlessly throughout the winter months, remaining effective in even the most challenging conditions.

In addition to the soak-a-way pit, we install French drains around the property, including integrated drains within the pool terrace, ensuring water is efficiently channeled away from your structures. This system is designed to handle a 100-year storm cycle, providing peace of mind and long-term protection for decades to come.

Lighting: Long-Lasting and Efficient

Lighting is a key element in any outdoor space, and our low-voltage lighting offers both energy efficiency and aesthetic appeal. The IP68-rated fixtures are designed to be durable and waterproof, making them perfect for year-round outdoor use. With a 7-year lamp life, all that’s needed is to replace the lamp, and it will last another 7 years—making the entire system last for over 25 years.

The system includes a stainless steel driver and an astronomical timer. The timer is equipped with a battery backup that lasts for 10 years, ensuring that even if the power goes out, the timer will continue to track on/off times, providing consistent and reliable lighting throughout the year.

Many of our plants are sourced from local nurseries, they are Canadian grown and cared for. In the winter, we take extra care with our maintenance program, covering sensitive plants with burlap and a frame to ensure they stay protected from the harsh weather. We utilized Unilock Umbriano pavers for a durable and aesthetically pleasing finish. The pavers are designed with a permeable foundation, which helps to cope with Ontario’s freeze-thaw cycles.
